Review on 🚀 Cisco-Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router with SpeedBooster: Unleash Ultimate Internet Speeds by Bryan Fields

I've been using a Linksys 802.11b wireless router for my mixed (wired and wireless) network for 3 years. The old router often hung and had to be restarted almost every week. The software update didn't help at all. I chose 802.11g and I'm glad I did. I just unplugged the old router, plugged this one in and voila! I was on my feet. Since I don't use encryption (too far from the road to worry) it took about a minute to set up. Fortunately, my Linksys Wireless Signal Booster (WSB24) works well with the WRT54GS, as do my Linksys 7 dBi TNC high-gain antennas. . Household devices that are only 802.11b compatible will work fine. The only exception was my Kingston Wireless Internet Finder, which doesn't see this network at all. People in the house noticed a much better speed and an unexpectedly longer range. Our previous freezing problems are gone. I would add that after switching to a 100% Linksys system (also modem) life is much better. I think this approach makes sense for whatever brand you prefer.
