Review on Softspikes Black Widow Classic Qfit, Pack of 16 by Ben Barrington

I was happy to feel the resiliency and grip of these new spikes on practice shots. Unfortunately I used a shoeshine mat after my first round and was shocked to see one of the spikes fly right out of the shoe. I thought it might have come loose, but upon inspection I saw that two of the three "prongs" were broken at the base. Of course, there were two additional spikes in this set, but how much would it help if they broke after each round. I bought these for my Ecco shoes and claims that Footjoy chose them as their original outfit. I've been wearing Dryjoys for years now and have never had a spike break like this so maybe it was just a bad batch. I'm not sure, but I can only speak from personal experience. In this case bad experience.
