I'm a part-time driver (dashboard, Grubhub, Revain Flex, etc.) and I need a pair of thin winter gloves just enough to do that much dexterity as possible but also keeps my hands warm with the ability to work on my phone's touchscreen without having to take them off as I have to constantly operate the phone during delivery. The gloves I received are different from the pictures on Revain. Firstly the gloves look nice and stylish but they are advertised as real leather which is not real leather. Also, the lining looks like plush faux fur in the pictures. In fact, the inner lining is just a thin layer of fleece. The fleece lining is soft and quite comfortable, but the picture is definitely deceiving. I have big hands but I like a tighter fit. I almost drop dead between L and XL with almost every pair of gloves I've ever used. Although advertised as a size L, they are VERY tight. They also fit oddly in certain places. There doesn't seem to be enough material at the top of the gloves so I clench my fist SUPER FIRMLY and press the top of the glove against my knuckles. At the same time, I have an extra inch in both thumbs. I know every hand is different, but these are definitely on the small side and the fit isn't consistent. The last thing that worries me is the actual heat. I realize I bought thin gloves on purpose to maintain my dexterity, but they do next to nothing to keep my hands warm. They're definitely better than bare hands, but after about 3 minutes in sub-zero temperatures, my fingers get cold. Aside from being a thin material, the tight fit of the gloves on my hands tends to pinch my fingers easily, which can also contribute. If the fit wasn't so snug the toes might be better at retaining heat, but that's my experience. The only thing I can praise (and that's why I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 1) is the touchscreen compatibility. The main reason I bought these particular gloves was that they supposedly work with touch screens. And in that respect they are wonderful. I can work on my phone with no problems while wearing them. I've had touchscreen gloves before and none of them worked as well as these. There is literally no difference between using gloves and bare fingers. I will continue to wear them in the hope that they will stretch a bit over time but given the fact that they are plastic rather than leather I have my doubts. Far from the best gloves I've had, but unless you have the same fit issues I do and don't plan on spending hours in freezing temperatures, these might suit you better.
