Review on 🧡 Monster Snap Hoop 9.5"x14" LM9 Design for Brother The Dream Machine 1 and 2 and Babylock Destiny BLDY 2 Embroidery Machine by Kim Sanchez

Save time and much easier hooping.

This makes hooping much easier and can even make re-hooping easier while still on the embroidery arm when quilting from edge to edge. I used it twice on the Big Dream record and both times the comforter slipped a bit. I don't think this will be an issue when using edge-to-edge, but when using IQ the shift was noticeable. I gave it a second try and it changed too. So when I quilt with IQ I stick to my regular hoop, but for projects that don't use IQ I think this will save a lot of time. That being said, I think Solaris will do well because it renders things in a hoop rather than downloading an image from an IQ positioning app. I have an Altair and the tire fits perfectly. If you're using it with IQ, you'll need to place the inside of the tire that came with your machine on top of the magnetic tire for the app to recognize it. I have a 5x7 Monster Hoop and I really like it. Haven't had a slip with this yet, but I mostly use it on individual blocks before sewing or Kimberbell projects.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE MAGNETIC FRAME - Adjust the hooped fabric directly in the embroidery frame!
Cons
  • Drill Kit
