Works well for about a month

Installed with no problems and worked well for about a month and then one fine day the tractor wouldn't start. It looks like a dead battery. I charged the battery but the motor still barely turned. I removed the starter and inspected it and the anchor was eaten. I ordered a new starter from another company, installed it - it shifts right away.
