I always order one size up for long underwear, but in this case 2 sizes could fit. I'm 6ft tall and skinny (29in waist) so clothes that don't fit properly are pretty common. In this case, the size L is about 2 inches shorter on both the top and bottom, which is slightly larger than usual for those who technically need to be an average size. If I need another set, I'll try 2 sizes up. I think for average built people one size up should be enough. and how light they are. In other words, they do their job very well. They're comfortable and soft to the touch, so I recommend them - just order a size up.
