Note that this food processor is very large. So much so that it doesn't fit in my garage or downstairs closet. This negates some of the benefits of keeping all the parts in the bowl as you still have to keep the motor separate from the bowl i.e. in two parts. I should also mention that the KitchenAid product appears cheap. Although the motor part looks like stainless steel in the photos, it is actually plastic. Installation and operation are also not intuitive. I had to read the manual as the blade assembly is like nothing I've ever seen in a food processor.
