It doesn't even work on old unused pans.
Claims about this product are not true! Too much heat is lost. Rainbean and other companies must not hide heat loss in their product descriptions. I tested this on my new DuxTop 9600LS in cooking mode. It didn't even start to boil, 10 minutes passed. Induction-ready cookware, whether aluminum or other non-magnetic materials, has a steel plate added to the bottom flat surface by electrically fusing them together. The heat temperature is transferred very efficiently. Avoid this trick and unfortunately I'm giving it back to Revane. Buy pots and pans for induction cookers. I have to admit I was trying to save a few bucks and it's true!
