Having owned two of these, I have to agree with the other complaints mentioned in the reviews: The first timer I bought lasted a while (a couple of months?) then the button got stuck, couldn't fix it, had to throw it away. BUT other than that I liked the form and function (especially the ability to control the alarm volume) and thought I might only have gotten one lemon so I accidentally ordered another one. The second timer failed again after a few weeks of use. This time the fault lies in the timer function itself. Set the cooking time, start the timer and it will stop counting down after just a second. Replaced the battery, didn't help. We will look for another option.
