I dared. I'm in my 40's and have suffered from hormonal acne for ages. I'm a fan of dr. Dray and she loves this product. The more I delved into the ingredients in this vial, the more I realized that it would most likely be beneficial for my oily, acne-prone skin. I learned that barberry, the main ingredient, is widely used in Chinese medicine to treat acne, and in Iran, where it is used in various dishes, it is also used to "cure" acne. by consuming it every day. Upon hearing this, I also ordered a bag of barberries to add to my three meals each day. It's a super fruit so I figured why not. Before ordering the vial, I checked out a few more reviews on YouTube and one of them noted that the texture is very thick, like honey, and would most likely lend itself to night time use, as the penultimate product before the final moisturizer. but will be too thick for daytime use. I found this to be very good advice and it actually works best for me. It feels like you're smearing your face with thick honey. After the first use, my face was brighter, hydrated and radiant the next morning. But best of all: no breakthroughs! I'm so glad I tried it :) and the price is definitely there - $23 for 100ml is great. I've recently become addicted to Korean cosmetics and I can tell you, this is just a bomb! I also use centella essence and mugwort and I feel like they really help calm things down. Very happy with it.
