Frustration for hair dryer and accessories

I was very disappointed in this hair dryer and returned it... It seemed to lack heat, just a very fast motor to blow a lot of air. I have long hair so he just tore my hair and put it in a bun instead of drying it. I'm wondering if the company tried this before launching it?
