Review on Rokform iPhone 12 Mini Case - Slim Magnetic Clear Apple Case with 📱 RokLock Quad Tab Twist Lock, Dual Magnet, Drop Tested Armor - Crystal Series (Clear) by Logan Goozmer

First of all I've had Rokform iPhone X and iPhone 11 Pro cases in the past. The build quality, durability and practicality of the case are fantastic. Despite being one of the most expensive iPhone protection options, I have found (through heavy use and abuse) that the case provides excellent protection for the phone. The one "built-in" magnet on the bottom of the case is really solid on its own, but if you stick a second magnet into the "Roklock connector" it will stick to almost any ferrous metal object in any orientation. Obviously this second magnet needs to be removed for MagSafe charging to work, but: Overall I was a bit disappointed with the lack of charging support for my iPhone 12Pro Max. The case is advertised as MagSafe compatible, but no matter what orientation I put the charger in As for the phone, it doesn't charge at all. I checked that the case is not in the phone - when I take the phone out of the case it charges normally. Strangely, it should be noted that the Rokform case I have for my 11Pro works fine (smaller phone/case) with wireless charging, but the new case for my iPhone 12Pro Max does not. (Large phone/case). I wonder if the bottom magnet is stronger in the larger case and therefore interferes more with the MagSafe adapter. Luckily, in my case, the only place I wirelessly charge is at my office, so I just have to navigate to that location instead. The other physiques are just too good to pass up and I can compromise. As far as potential buyers go, in my experience, "standard” sized cases are perfectly capable of wireless charging, while "larger” (maximum) sized cases cannot. Your mileage may vary.
