The two piece set is nice...it's great to have a travel brush. Thought it would help with flyaway hair and it was better than a boar comb. While the brush handle is sturdy, the mesh holding the "brush pins" pulled out slightly as I combed the bun out of my hair. Given the low price, this is not surprising. So if your hair is thick or knotted, you might want to opt for something more permanent.
