The best generic I've tried is just as good as the famous brand.

I have bought many universal branded filters for my Eureka Airspeed 1000 vacuum cleaner, this is the best, fits perfectly. Some of the others didn't snap, although they were all just as strong (or better) than the one that came with the vacuum. Excellent price. I have no reason to spend more on a big brand. After all, I bought a vacuum cleaner three years ago hoping to save money by not buying more vacuum bags. So I don't want to spend more money on filters. I will buy this again. I just checked and the price of the filter has gone up! annoys. I was about to stock up when I finally found one that worked great.
