I read all the reviews and decided to try these. I've been using heat rollers for years, and after trying to grow my hair this year, I realized I needed something to add some "body" or volume to my hair. I have fine hair but there is a lot of it and it tends to flatten out and not hold curls unless I use a lot of hairspray or product. The reels seem to heat up quickly, although it took a little longer than advertised. I gave him a good 10 minutes before rolling. It's good that they have a power indicator to show they're on, but it would be nice to have a light to indicate when they're fully warmed up and ready to use. I had no problem peeling it off, the clips are attached and you just take them off, then you take off the clip and roll. There is a slot in the center of the roller and when you're done you simply put the clip back on, line up the slot and slide down. I had a few issues the second time around, but it's no big deal. I really liked them and they were easy to use and stayed on my hair. When I took them off I ran my fingers through my hair and didn't spray to see how it would hold up. I have a lot of body that lasted without hairspray. This might not be the best choice if you're looking for lots of tight curls, but it's great for loose curls and fullness.
