Review on ❄️ Rover Adventure Gear Ice Traction Cleat with Crampon-Style Design by Joe Duncan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

They work well, but not very well

Rating based on only one use in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, in the Eben Ice Caves. These boots work very well on the ice. out. I bought these for a size 10 men's hiking boot, so I ordered medium based on the sizing info provided. They were too small for men's size 10 boots, but they fit my niece perfectly, who had women's size 8 over the knee boots. I was able to put them on over a man's boot indoors, but it was very tight and almost impossible outside in the freezing cold. The quality is ok in this price range. Nothing special. One of the links bent and broken off. When we got home they had surface rust. It's not stainless steel. Just a basic circuit that works great. Just don't expect them to be abused for years. I also bought a pair of Hillsound FreeSteps6 in a large size which fit my size 10.5 men's boots perfectly. This is a much higher quality chain and rubber. The chain is made of stainless steel and the rubber is a bit thicker but still very resilient. But they cost twice as much.
