We bought the color wenge, size 16". It's always hard to know from computer photos how it will actually look. The color is a little lighter than expected but looks amazing the design and finish is superb also when comparing similar items i always try to buy made in the USA installation is very easy and everything was included for mounting to drywall or studs The Magnets are definitely strong enough for our needs, none of the knives slipped off, I avoided stainless steel knives due to the looks and rust issues (they inevitably show surface rust in our salty air) I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a magnetic look for a knife holder.
