I just came back from a month-long trip with this as my primary bag (carry-on, camera bag, backpack). It takes some time to get used to all the packets and compartments (and you should have seen my trying to explain to the TSA agent how to get at the item he wanted to inspect!). At first, I had to look all over to remember where I'd stashed things. I like the look, and it's actually pretty comfortable to carry on my back, even when fully loaded. I suspect it will be more comfortable with more use, as the fabric will probably loosen up a bit more. One downside--it is heavier than many backpacks.
