SAME AS KKB

I bought this pair first because they cost $5 less than the KK pair. I wasn't impressed with them as I have plus sizes. They're a little too mushy. After reading the reviews, I decided to pay an additional $5 for another brand to compare. As you can see, there is practically no difference. There is no difference in their feel, in their sharpness, in their ability to cut. They feel and sound exactly the same. I think the SIZE of these scissors is too small for BOTH BRANDS. Because of the size, they don't cut as well as others. No Brand. Both pairs of scissors struggle with multiple layers BUT the description tells you that's to be expected. They are both extremely hot. The serrated edges on both sides prevent the fabric from being pushed away from you, which is the main reason for buying these scissors. These scissors are designed for cutting with reverse appliqués or for cutting out simple shapes. They are not designed to cut through multiple layers. For having them on my shatelen/lace to applique and hand sew, they are way better than the silver pleated pair I've had on my lace for years. They grip the fabric and thread, making it easy to cut small details. Both couples are up to the task. Both would be better if the metal that makes up the scissors was a bit bigger and a bit wider to make it more stable. But if you're buying these to have on hand for crafts, they are really sharp and precise scissors and I'm glad I have them! But they are almost identical. I hope this solves the dilemma.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

I have both these and the KKB scissors. I don't even see a difference.
