I've been buying these mica powders for a while, they offer amazing color, no side effects (I use them for cold process soap which can be VERY volatile), easy to use and great value for money Relationship . I understand there is concern when you receive a glass that looks half full. I don't have a completely empty can for the exact weight of the container itself, but hopefully my photos can provide some help? The lid itself weighs 10g, the container itself without the lid weighs the same and maybe more (just an estimate). But let's say the can with the lid weighs no more than 30 g when empty. In this respect, the smallest total weight of the new can is 80 g (minus 30 g for cans), i.e. 50 g. advertised total weight sold. Not sure if that helps but I buy enough jars of this product all the time and I'm sure I will continue to buy from them. I hope this helps some to relax!
