I rarely write reviews but this thermometer is fantastic and so is the customer service. After 6 months I tested its temperature gauge by placing the gauge in boiling water and it immediately read 210 degrees and 212 degrees for about 30 seconds. I have bought several meat thermometers in my life and this TP17 was by far the most accurate. his desired temperature. I called support to find out how to turn the sound back on, and literally after 2-3 minutes they answered me, they said that something was wrong with the device, and in 2-4 days they would give me a new thermometer send. They didn't ask for a refund, they just had to make sure I bought the device and that the same address was valid. Excellent customer service! I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
