I have fond memories of playing with these at the beach as a kid, but why not have them around for daily use? My kids (2.5 and 5) fell absolutely in love with these within seconds of showing them how they work. We have used them daily both in the house and the backyard. My 5 year old is obsessed because he struggles with coordination and teaching him how to catch has been an uphill battle, so this lets him experience playing catch with a bit of an assist.The velcro is really strong, my 2.5 year old struggles to get the balls off the paddles, but she can manage. The paddles are a bit small but perfectly sized for younger kids and me and my husband have no issue using them.My only complaint is that the seams of the balls are a bit sloppy (see pic) and that can affect how well the ball catches if it was tossed just so.
