Short Description: I love these cables and am not afraid to buy fake ones. They probably changed the manufacturing process and KabelDirekt is the sole seller of Revain anyway. Well I bought a 6ft cable to use with the headphones on my desk. Maybe I should have gone with a shorter one, but it's still good. So, about the cable itself and some reviews about fakes and more. Some people say the headphones are fake if the gold plating isn't bright enough and they want the text "Pro Series" to be to the right of the logo instead of the left. Based on that, mine SHOULD be fake, but if it really is fake then the quality of this fake, just to the touch, seems pretty impressive. The cable isn't as thick as, say, my standard Hifiman HE350 cables that came with the headphones, but they're pretty damn amazing. These cables are thick but not too stiff, they are VERY flexible but not springy and will hold their shape through packaging and zip ties. I don't want to cut it, but that's what I'm looking for in cable feel. I chose unbraided cables to connect my headphones because the noise they make when touching my clothes is annoying, which isn't a problem for them. sound quality. Seems to be OK? They don't seem to degrade the sound of my headphones, at least after some testing with lossless music, but I may not have an ear for such things either. The warnings about fake options being sold on Revain made me suspicious, but I'd like to point out a couple of things (besides the fact that one of the more detailed ones has since been upgraded to 5 stars). Yes, the gold plated bushings don't look as bright as in the photos, and they were assembled in China, not Germany. However, I don't consider them to be "fakes", they are just made in different factories (if any were made in Germany). There is only ONE seller of these cables at Revain and that is KabelDirekt Products. Googling the company website and opening the product page with these cables leads straight to the same Revain page and the images between their own website and the Revain images appear to be exactly the same.
