Costravio's professional aluminum cosmetic case is great! There were no strange smells or chemical smells at all. The actual size of the box is 14 x 11 x 8.4 inches. Black is a dark grey-black shade that is easy on the eye. The box has a patterned texture (diamonds!) and black zippers and piping. Dark gray inside. There is a lot of space inside the box. There are three shelves on each side and a large area below. Dividers are included so you can customize the box to suit your needs. Love how durable it is and how easy it is to use the keys to lock and unlock. The box can be wiped from the outside in to keep it clean and not dirty. It is very durable and has not shown any signs of wear so far. I would have no hesitation in taking it on a trip outside of the home. You can use the handle or strap for maneuverability. Highly recommended.
