The item was of good quality and well packaged.
The product is supplied in standard laboratory grade dry chemical packaging. It was well labeled and worked well in my application (creating reference solutions to calibrate a conductivity sensor). This item is not intended for cooking and I would not recommend swallowing it. This is a lab grade product, not food grade - some other reviewers seem to have abused it. If my sample contains a toxic contaminant, using it as a sensor calibration solution won't kill me, but if you use it inappropriately in cooking, it could make a world of difference. For lab use, this worked very well.
