I've read negative reviews that pets don't like the rustle of the carpet. But I've never seen a cat that doesn't look like a gyrus! We bought this for our 21 year old (yes she's 21!) cat because we're worried she might get a little cold and we don't want to risk using a heating pad. (She loves to chew on string!) We took her out of the box and put her on the floor; maybe 10 seconds passed before she was in the thick of it! Needless to say, she loves it. I love that the cover is machine washable. I will NEVER buy another pet bed that I can't throw in the washing machine. It's been about a week now and I'm thinking of ordering a few more to place in their favorite sleeping spots. money well spent.
