Run new tires in very hot water to soften them and make installation easier. Remove Tires/Wheels From Tractor Now

You will need a few tools to fit this tire. Because it's so small, it's a bit different from a car tire. I'm an amputee (leg above the knee) and I'm in a wheelchair, so if I can do it, anyone can if you apply your mechanical knowledge. You will need a pair of regular long handled screwdrivers (about 12 inches long with blades). Run new tires in very hot water to soften them and make installation easier. Now remove the tyres/wheels from the tractor. air inside) and let all the air out. If the shaft is no longer good, reuse it, if not, replace it. I stick a screwdriver under the rim of the rim, take the rim of the tire and push it out, then stick another screwdriver in and work the other side on the same side and repeat the same with the other rim of the tire doing the same on the other tires. Now take one of the new tires out of the hot water and put some soapy water around its bead (the inner edge of the tire). tire at the point where it meets the rim.) Use screwdriver to put the bead part on the rim. Then take a couple of vises and attach one to the edge of the rim where you left off, using the screwdrivers to hold the tire in place. Now put your screwdrivers in place and start working on the bead of the rest of the tyre, using a little more soapy water if needed. Once this bead is in place, leave the wheel and tire as they are and work on the other bead, fitting it in the same way as the previous bead. Install the new inboard valve onto the valve stem and tighten around the circumference of the tire with a small ratchet strap. Now inflate the tire valve stem and make sure the tire bead is seated all the way around on both sides. Do not overfill while the ratchet is still on the bar. Remove the belt and inflate the tire to the correct PSI. Mount and manufacture the next tire. Not a bad job just takes some time and will save you a few bucks!
