Honestly. and excellent brand, I expected much higher quality. The material these ties are made of is EXTREMELY thin! So thin it's easy to tear them in half even if you try to separate them from their closed coil. They work? Yes, they hold the cables together. The question that worries me is "how long?" The velcro is also very thin and not aggressive. If I had to rate them on durability, it would be "Light Duty" at best. Before I bought them, I had bought "Dollar Store" knockoffs which (it turned out) are vastly superior in every sense of the word. Thank goodness they're so cheap they should have told me (after all) not to have such high expectations. UPDATE #1: I've been using them consistently for over a month now. I almost used up the first roll of 25. My initial reaction to their quality and durability was perhaps hasty. Repeatedly boxing and unboxing many of them still works fine. At this point I will be upgrading my rating from 3 to 4 stars and changing my rating from Light Duty to Medium Duty. UPDATE #2: Almost a year has passed. I just finished my first roll of wraps. None of them failed under moderate to heavy use. In cases where I needed a longer wrap, I doubled it up with no problem. My only suggestion from VELCRO is to cut the straps a little lower. I loaned some photos to another photographer. He, too, accidentally ripped off the end instead of cutting it cleanly.
