Bought this carrier for my mum. She uses it for her 12 pound dog. The description states up to 13 lbs. My mother showed me yesterday that the floor is broken. Your dog will eventually fall to the ground and will no longer be safe. So the product is not stored for a long time. Actually, I think the bottom is just a plain cardboard box covered with fabric underneath. So I wouldn't say he handles a 12 pound dog, more like a 5 or 6 pound dog. Super is not happy with it as now we either fix it or need another carrier. I would not recommend this product due to longevity. Lasts maybe a year, if that.
