Please note that the instructions for the Nagaoka MP-150 are in Japanese, but the specifications are still understandable. So there is no problem in adjusting the turntable's counterbalance to Nagaoka's specifications. The Nagaoka MP-150 has breathed new life into my vinyl collection, with this cartridge you hear new details, especially the mids and highs. Details are so clear across the musical spectrum that it feels like hearing every album for the first time. Nagaoka offers a 30-hour break-in, and I have about 22 hours in that time. I look forward to this cartridge getting even better over time and glad I switched to the Nagaoka MP-150. If you are looking to upgrade your cartridge then you should seriously consider the Nagaoka MP-150 and if you choose this cartridge you will not be disappointed.
