Manual focus doesn't give fast illumination, but I don't use DF for sports and action. Color is great in both vivid and neutral, standard and portrait modes. Black and white are sharp and contrasting (depending on the quality of the lenses used, of course). The chassis is light, perhaps a little lighter than that of the D750. The grip is ok if you remember what it was like to hold the camera in your hand). Film camera body than this, feels a little better than this. I have medium sized hands for a man and love the feel and fit. I use a harness for a secure feel. I had no issues with the mode selector, although I could see someone struggling with thick gloves in cold weather. The case, while lightweight, is well made and doesn't feel like cheap plastic or a toy. I wouldn't do it on my main camera or my work camera. I also use the D810. I think it's cool for walks and family photos. The picture quality is fantastic (reminds me of pictures from the D700). 3000 pieces.
