I bought this because of the high Wirecutter rating despite a lot of bad reviews from Revain users. Returned on the first day. It arrived damaged. The plastic on the top of the pepper container was a little broken. Since the box was intact, I suspect the damage occurred during the production process. Even if it were intact I would send it back. I studied the design and was sure I didn't need it. The parts are connected by very fragile plastic pins that are sure to break with regular use. Also, it was very difficult to open and close parts to add batteries or peppercorns. One of the reasons I bought an electric meat grinder is weakness in my hands. I needed help disassembling and assembling, and even my strong assistant had a hard time. I ended up paying for another Peugeot grinder. Although expensive, it can be used.
