First of all I liked it. Felt like it did the job as advertised. This could be seen from the color coding. After 2 months, odors and particles have not disappeared. Even though the filter change indicator never came on, I figured it might need to be replaced. They were sold out for several weeks. Finally found a replacement filter. I felt like it worked great for the first 2 weeks. Now it doesn't seem to filter properly again. But we don't smoke in the house, we keep our house clean and the windows closed. They cleaned the air ducts for us so can't say the system just didn't keep up. We used it in our living room, which is about 400 square feet, which is a lot less than the area it's supposed to filter. After we changed the filter, we did a test. We blew smoke next to the air purifier, cooked fish, opened the windows on a dusty day. As a result, the color code has not changed. It showed green, meaning "excellent". The smoke didn't come up at all. This was my second replacement cleaner. Now 3 months later with our new air purifier it is not working and the return window is closed. The return period was only 30 days. I would not recommend this cleaner for removing odors and allergy symptoms. Buying $30 filters every few weeks is unacceptable. Not sure if it's the filters or the air purifier itself, but I'm tired of finding out.
