I was incredibly impressed by the zoom and the clarity of the photographs, but I was underwhelmed with the video. I am sorry that I did not pay more attention to this earlier. The benefits of it include: I appreciate the way it captures faraway items in the shot. Outstanding image quality overall. Brilliant hues. Many environments. You have the ability to capture images in all settings by picking the required modes on your own, and believe me when I say that this is very exciting. The fact that it is capable of taking macro photographs is irrelevant. A good macro shot will not work from the very first frame onward. As a result of the difficulty involved in photographing a toddler who is always moving, the resulting images are often hazy. On the other hand, I have issues with video in general. Even when I shoot completely still with a tripod, the focus cannot be maintained.
