Happy with the purchase. Zhiyun Crane works as advertised and I am very happy with the quality of the stabilization function. Zhiyun developed a great product and working with Pergear was also a great experience. Why not 5 stars? I would like a slightly better camera mounting plate design to allow the camera to be removed/remounted without having to rebalance the rig. This problem can be solved with a quick release mounting plate like the one included in this kit, although it's a little heavy and a little sticky to work with. It would also be nice if a camera control interface cable was included so that the crane's camera control functions can be used straight away. This will be a separate purchase. The joystick on the gimbal works well and the app used to control the gimbal also works, but they don't seem to work well together when switching from one control to the other. Seems to work well when using one or the other. Caution for those who want to mount a Sony A7 series camera using the LA-EA4 lens adapter. The adapter protrudes downward and interferes with the crane mounting plate when the camera is in a balanced position on the gimbal. It also interferes with the quick release plate that comes with the kit. If you try to use the mounting socket on the adapter, it will be too far forward for a balanced mount. I was able to work around this by making a spacer that fit under the mounting bushing on the camera body and attaching the camera with the longer mounting screw. This will raise the camera to make room for the lens adapter. Not elegant, but it worked.
