These socks are just great for our purposes. We were looking for socks to keep our kids warm and dry in winters up to 25 degrees Fahrenheit. The test came yesterday when my son, wearing sneakers and these socks, stepped into a frozen puddle. When I checked his leg 15 minutes later, his leg was warm! The inner cotton sock was wet, the sneakers got wet, but this sock was mostly dry. We took the inside off and put it back on and he was fine for the rest of the walk. I like that they are economical and functional. We have 1 size for our 2T and 5T kids and we just slip them over the 2T kid like leggings.
