Let me say I was glad to buy another pair of gloves given the soft comfortable fit of my first pair bought a few years ago . Unfortunately it isn't. I don't remember where my first pair is; dark brown lined with wool and cashmere but this new pair was made in Ethiopia. Not happy with this purchase of a black pair with the same lining. It seems that the pursuit of additional profit has again led to a noticeable drop in comfort and quality. Firstly, the lining sticks much less to the fingers or is applied less evenly. Where my first pair felt seamless, I can feel a lot of stitching on this pair. The skin is also less soft and the shape of the fingers does not match the natural curve of the hand and fingers. Speaking of the lining, I actually managed to pierce it the first time I put it on. My thumb tried to find the hole and must have found a weak seam or a previously torn spot instead. I sewed it up yesterday, but they definitely don't fit in a pair of gloves.
