Car does not recognize the key fob as a proximity device. The original key fob allows you to unlock the car when you approach the car and lock it when you exit the car. This is a very simple unit that locks and unlocks the doors just by pressing the key fob buttons. The guy cut the key as he got out but didn't say the fob could be used minimally until he left. I plan to return it and ask for a full refund. You tricked me into buying the programming service separately. I'd say it's worth it for about half what they charge. It was 200 in total. For an additional 100 I can get a Honda key fob that does everything the original can. So I can start the car.
