Ooma Telo systems work great. Very easy to use interface for setting up a new device. With Ooma, you can choose a phone number (with an area code of your choice), but you can then arrange with Ooma to port your existing phone number to replace the one you've chosen. (Transfer costs $40.) The device has a built-in voicemail system and will send notifications (and records) of received messages to the specified email address. The three portable phones in this bundle were also easy to set up and worked flawlessly - they even notified you of voice messages that could be played from the phone. Surprisingly, there is no monthly fee for this service - you only pay federal and state taxes, which are about $6.00 per month! The cost of the device and porting your current phone number to Ooma quickly pays for itself in savings on your monthly landline bill, giving you many more options. As long as you have a reliable internet connection, this is not a problem.
