I bought this and the Apple cable at the same time to try both, but from the same Anker PD charging source it delivers 1/2 power of the Apple cable so is stuck with that. Too bad there was a very good cable in terms of assembly, as was the question of getting the USB-A version, but not after that. I'm updating my review with one more star based on support only as Anker contacted me to send me a replacement and will update my results here once I receive them. At the same time, I use the cable from my iPhone to my computer, where it is also limited to the computer. I applaud their customer service.
