Better Than Stock Magnets on Name Tags

I bought these to replace the back piece of a magnetic name badge issued to me by my business school. I’m convinced the back of the stock one somehow didn’t hold because I don’t know how else I would’ve lost half of a magnet. My school doesn’t sell the back piece separately and rather than pay $50 for a new name badge, I decided to give these a try. I’m glad I did because they were way cheaper, fit the standard 1"x3" name badge perfectly, and after a month of near daily use, I’m still using the same one. I can’t speak for the strength of the adhesive since I only needed the other part of the magnet, but I’d trust it given how well the other half has worked.

Pros
  • These holders are perfect for busy events where time is of the essence
Cons
  • The metallic finish may make it difficult or impossible for customers with specific dress codes or regulations to use these badge holders
