My rating: 1 star - didn't like it at all, 2 stars - everything was fine, 3 stars - impressed (like it), 4 stars - damn good (like it), 5 stars - wow (essential in my life) Bought these sea foam green towels. They almost matched the color of the existing towels I already had. Washed well the first time (before use). Although the weight of the towel seemed a little lighter, the towel dried me fairly well. Feels good on the skin - not too soft (like microfiber towels) and not too harsh. I was impressed that this towel dried fairly well after simply hanging it on a towel hook rather than a towel bar. How nice? I took a late night shower around 11pm and by early morning around 5am it was dry to the bone. While I was impressed by the drying speed of the towel, I was completely disappointed by the towel's color fastness. After the second use I found the next morning that there were two bleached spots on the towel. The?! How did this happen?! The only thing I can think of is that when I wrapped it around my head, PERHAPS the dyes used on that towel didn't work for my particular shampoo? And what traces of shampoo were left in my towel-blonde hair? Because the two dots match up perfectly when I put it back on my head. This only happened a few times with the cheap towels I got from stores (about $4 for $5). At this price point (over $11 for a towel) I expected it to perform much better (slightly heavier, softer, not just discolored by shampoo residue). Therefore, although the drying speed of the towel after use is good, it is not enough for me to redeem these towels. slightly rougher) and discolored areas of the towel after the second use to show no stains.
