If you do not own a Nintendo 3DS or are not planning to upgrade to a 3DS XL, think carefully before deciding NOT to buy this device. I personally bought it as a collector's item. It represents the 30th anniversary of Luigi's debut (and is celebrated as Luigi Year from March 2013 to March 2014). This definitely represents a milestone in Nintendo's history. This is the first 3DS Silver to be released in the US, which definitely makes this version unique. The front and back images are as permanent as the text/images on the bottom of a 3DS, so they won't rub off with normal use (some of my friends asked me this so I thought I'd let everyone who reads this know). . At the moment (3/2014) it's still a great value as it basically costs the same as a regular 3DS XL, plus the game (which costs around $30). gone, the price will go up - maybe not as much as the Zelda or Pikachu special editions. However, that's a lot for the limited edition. If you're looking for the 3DS XL, this is incredible value. or if you're looking for the right time to grab your limited edition 3DS XL, then stop reading and hit the Buy Now button while you can!
