If you have the kit installed, after connecting the battery the lights will blink once and not come on again, but your controller will still works (which is pretty common), then I have a solution. First let me say that while I love the LED kit, there is one major downside that no one anywhere notices. Not in the instructions, not in the video on YouTube, not even on the manufacturer's website. ANSWER: After you connect the black wire for charging, logic tells you that when connecting 2 ends to the control board and to the LEDs themselves, the ribbon cables should lie flat, right? NOT RIGHT. I now have TWO and BOTH I had to reverse the wires before plugging them in for them to work properly. But now you have 2 twisted pair ribbon cables inside the controller that are already spatially limited. Definitely not the best design I've seen. Seems like an easy fix too, or at least someone will mention that the ribbon cables are ROUTED. But other than that it's a really cool mod. Hope this helps someone! Good luck and have fun!
