I took one of these to power one of my small video lights with a V-mount battery. I needed this power plate as the flashlight only had a conventional 12V DC plug. This plate not only comes with a 12V plug but also with a 15V and 8V cable. The power board also has a USB connector and a D-top connector. A small super clamp is firmly attached to the back of the plate. This makes it ideal for mounting on a light stand under a light source. The wires are stored in the felt pouch provided, however the plate itself does not fit in the pouch. The only problem with this plate is that due to the angle of the clamp on the back of the plate, when you want to tighten or loosen it, the little rod you use to do it actually bumps against the v-mount release button. This makes opening and closing the clamp a bit more difficult and slower, but not impossible. Apart from that small drawback, this is a very good V-Mount Power Plate.
