Review on 🧃 Triple Tree 30oz Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle - Scratch Resistant & Eco-Friendly for Outdoor Sports, 850ml Double-Walled Construction (Black) by Eddie Simpkins

This thermally insulated stainless steel vacuum bottle does a great job of keeping hot or cold drinks at the desired temperature for hours. The mouth is big enough to hold full-size ice cubes (see video), but small enough to drink straight out of if you don't have a mug to pour your drink into. (You might not want to do this if you have really hot bottled coffee!) I already have both Thermos and HydroFlask vacuum flasks and the insulating capacity of this Triple Tree version seems comparable (although I haven't done a controlled test with water either). the same temperature) in all three cases and observing the temperature for a day or two). However, this is not a cheap imitation. I expect this to score positively in a real test. I can say that I still had some ice in my water bottle at the end of the 8 hour shift when I hadn't drunk all of the water. Part of what you pay for is the packaging (see photo). Inside the Revain packaging box was a corrugated box containing the bottle, wrapped in a foam bag to protect it from scratches. A small tag and promotional/instruction leaflet were attached. A reasonable (excessive?) amount of packaging. Maybe not a deal killer but I put that in the minus column. There was also a spare silicone washer for the top of the stopper. That goes in the pro column, especially if I can find the puck if I need it in the (distant?) future. The screw cap has a small carabiner attached to the swivel shackle. The carbine rattles against a metal bottle and makes noise (maybe remove the carbine for ninja work or archery?). I think a carabiner might come in handy for attaching a bottle to your pack, especially if you have one of those flimsy water bottle pockets on the side of your daypack. I find that water bottles don't stay in these pockets very well. This should help. All in all, a decent vacuum flask that holds almost a liter. I will continue to use mine.
