Review on Boye Ergonomic Crochet Hook Handle 4.5-inch, 4.5-inch, Purple/Green by Kelly Caballes

I've been crocheting for over 5 years and I've always had pain in my hands and wrists, which can last for several days. My family and I often joke that I'm an old lady at heart, but sometimes my hands feel real. I am 22 years old, do a lot of needlework and am concerned about how crocheting is affecting my joints when they are so sore. I wanted some ergonomic hooks but felt it was wasteful to buy a brand new set when I already have one. When I discovered this product I decided that for the price it was worth trying. I'm so glad I did! The grip opens up your hand and reduces finger cramps (and calluses), and because the grip has a slightly rubberized texture, it doesn't take a lot of pressure to hold it. The large size also requires less wrist movement to manipulate the hook, reducing pain. Over the years I've cut down on crocheting due to pain, but after using it I no longer feel reluctant! Since using this product I no longer have arm or wrist pain while crocheting! This would make an amazing gift for any knitter in your life, including yourself! In some other comments, some people said they didn't like it, that there was no size on the rings and that the tag should be kept. I found a very simple solution to this problem (2 if you have combat hooks). I just leave the rings on their hooks and store them that way. There aren't many reasons to take them off. Or, if you have Boye hooks, the rings are color matched to the hook sizes. Another problem I personally found was that when you press the ring down like the instructions say the 2 pieces of the crocheted guy seem to be loose at times. I just don't push the ring all the way, just let the ring push while I connect the 2 pieces. Overall this is a really great product for any knitter and well worth the price. The problems mentioned in other comments have very simple solutions. If I could give more stars I would!
