Review on Roaming the Streets: RC Toy Garbage Truck for Boys Unleashed! by Jon Garcia

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great toy to fantasize, great size, doesn't have to be RC

. Any kid who loves a good garbage truck will probably love this one. It's a decent size, closer to 1/30 scale, but those little hands can easily interact with it and carry it around. It's not heavy and can withstand multiple falls and flips. It has two opening flaps, one at the top and one at the back, so it can be loaded with "junk". The trash can is removable. It's not easy to remove and reattach, but the bin is removable from the back and has a lid that opens and closes. It doesn't have a blade or a hand to lift a dumpster, but that doesn't seem to matter in the performance. The remote control works in multi-function forward, backward, left and right. It moves fast and there is only one speed, either full throttle or not. So for a three-year-old child without batteries it remains just a toy, which is completely normal. When the batteries are installed and the machine is on, the interior light will flash red and blue. It accepts AA batteries. The motor moves an axle and the steering turns left/right. It's not proportional RC, it's either 100% or not. The truck has a couple of stickers on the side and one in the middle on the top of the truck that peels off but covers an odd hole in the plastic. All a fun toy for imaginative play.
