First let me say that I love the round ice from this set. They are large and fit into most larger cups or a rocks glass. They don't fit into some smaller cocktail glasses I have but for Moscow mule cups and water glasses at my house they are a hot commodity.They stay ice longer than anything else we have so you are less likely to water down your cocktail, especially in this heat. The mold is easy to put together in fill. It comes with a funnel to get the water into the enclosed balls but I haven't had any issue with putting the water directly into the holes, it just means I wipe them down prior to freezing. To be honest I wasn't great with the funnel and ended up wiping them down then too.The square cubes are okay. They melt faster since there isn't a top lid and they are not as dense. They are also never perfectly square as again no top lid so if they are slightly askew during freezing it shows and the silicone is flexible enough that they always look a little misshapen. Not a big deal but they are not nearly as fun or easy to do as the round balls.Overall: The round balls are a full fantastic 5 Stars and the square trays are a 3 stars as they spill easily in the freezer, are never really square and melt faster since they are less dense.
