Great product and design with locking mechanism
I was initially wary of purchasing as one review said it doesn't have a locking mechanism and it's annoying when all the screws fall out. But the other, more expensive version I received was lost in transit so I've reverted to it and am happy to report you were wrong. There is a locking mechanism. You push it down to open it and again to close it securely. The design is very compact and chic and I like it very much!
